Bear Archery G62 Recurve Bow
The G62 is inspired by the classic 62” Grizzly from the late 50’s and early 60’s. The riser features I-Beam construction, with Chechen (Caribbean Rosewood) for the I-Beam and Jatoba (Brazilian Cherry) for the outer pieces. The limb core on the Bear G62 is made from hard rock maple, pressed between two layers of clear fiberglass. The tips are crafted with black fiberglass, allowing use of all string materials, including fast flight. A black cap on the back of the riser adds strength and ties the tips and riser together for a sleek, unified look. This is Bear Archery’s first 62” one-piece recurve in decades, and its smooth, accurate shooting performance will not disappoint.

Cajun Bowfishing CAJUN 8 LIMITED TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION
The 11th Annual Cajun 8 Bowfishing Tournament is set for August 2–3, 2025, at Angel Mounds State Historic Site in Evansville, IN. This year, we’re going back to our roots with a limited 60-boat format just like the early days. Expect over $30,000 in prizes, free food, energy drinks, live music, and some of the toughest competition in the Midwest. The format remains the same: Big 8 – Heaviest 8 fish wins. Pre-registration runs May 1 through June 15 for $300 and includes a free Cajun 8 shirt, plus automatic entry into a giveaway for a Florida bowfishing and hog hunting trip. Registration after June 15 is $400. Check-in opens at 1:00 PM CST on August 2 and all teams must be checked in by 4:00 PM. The Captain’s Meeting starts at 4:30 PM, with boats released immediately after. All teams must return and be in line with sorted fish by 7:00 AM CST on August 3. Once you register, keep an eye on your email for the Team Detail Form. Filling this out is required to complete your registration.
